The Evolution of Relationship between Movement and Ti-Yu under the System of“Morality,Intelligence,Physique”in China—On the Historical Formation of Multiple Values of Ti-Yu

Based on the differences between the origin and the present relationship between movement and Ti-Yu under the“morality, intelligence and sports” system, and the fact that sports connotation changes from single to multiple, this paper mainly analyzes the evolution of the relationship between movement and Ti-Yu under the “morality, intelligence and sports” system through literature review and logical speculation, and probes into the historical generation of sports multiple meanings. The research shows that the different relationship between movement and Ti-Yu is one of the ways to respond to the current dilemma of Ti-Yu positioning. There have five stages in it. First(1890s): Based on the simple logical direction, movement is one of the factors that influence on Ti-Yu. Second(from the end of 1890s to the end of 1940s): It is established that movement is the main carrier and form of Ti-Yu through internal and external factor. Third(from the founding of new China to the middle and late 1970s): Under the demand of strong body, Ti-Yu is more related to general physical and physical activities. Fourth(from the end of 1970s to the end of 1990s): The value function differentiation and sublimation of movement—competition of skill and physique and the importance of sports culture become the theme of this stage. Fifth(since the 21 stcentury): The construction of multidimensional value of Ti-Yu based on the movement standard—three-dimensional health concept and core literacy are proposed at this stage. The relevant enlightenments are as follows: Pay attention to the evolution of relationship between Ti-Yu and movement; distinguish the Ti-Yu's meaning in different periods; establish and make clear the multiple meanings of Ti-Yu; clarify the semantic distinction between movement and Ti-Yu and beware of the loss of humanity.
