    The Origin and Recongnition of the New Discipline“Sport Pedagogy”of Sport Science

    • Sport pedagogy is a young branch of sport science recognized internationally. The development of this subject in China is“famous and unreal”, and it has been in a state of stagnation for more than 20 years. For integrating into international field, to acquire the substantial progress, this study mainly uses the method of literature review to analyze the etymology of Sport Pedagogy and sort out the development of the discipline at home and abroad. The study shows that: 1) The generalized sport and inclusive pedaogy reveal that sport pedagogy attempts to cover all the pedagogical problem related to phyaical activity; 2) sport pedagogy has experienced three satges, and now in the the satge of preliminary formatting of discipline; 3) the definition of disciplinary is not deep enough, the development direction is unclear, there is no specific research framework and the research content is foucused on shool sport education. This study redefines the concept of discipline, defines the disciplinary framework of “Three Dimensions and One Core” and summarizes the development direction of discipline in the future according to the research status at home and abroad. This study believes that, at prestent stage, sport pedagogy should build the academic organization, construct the platform for academic communication, and pefect the disciplinary mechanism.
