A Hundred-Year Exploration of the Construction of a Sports Power of the Communist Party of China

The Communist Party of China(CPC) has led sports cause march through a magnificent century of history. It has thoroughly explored various propositions and essentials of sports ranging from saving the country with sports, strengthening people's physique with sports, rejuvenating the country with sports, building a major sports country and a world sports power, which makes the construction of a world sports power become a strong driving force to realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.By using the methods of documentation, historical analysis, comparative reasoning, this paper systematically investigates the theme,content and frame, historical experience and practical direction of the construction of the China's world sports power over the past century under the leadership of the CPC. Under the leadership of the CPC, Chinese people have actively participated in the construction of the world sports power with joint forces, forming a vigorous fountain of strength of the world sports power, and the result is that the elements of building the world sports power can be integrated into people's better life featuring health and happiness. A pattern of “rooted in China and merging the world” has been created for sports exchanges and opening-up, and made the sports take the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation as an important mission for its advancement and development, and formed a new development path of the world sports power with Chinese characteristics.
