A Qualitative Study on the Construction of China’s Sports Market Supervision System in the New Era

Enhancement of the sports market supervision plays an important role in promoting the development of sports industry toward the high-quality end and deepening the sports industry reform. By using Nvivo 12 software, qualitative analysis was conducted on the interview data about the heads of sports market supervision departments in 30 provinces(autonomous regions),municipalities and other 7 prefecture-level cities. The result shows that: 1) The research and practice of market supervision and modern service market supervision have a guiding and instructive significance for the conduction and system construction of sports market supervision in the New Era; 2) the sports market supervision has just started, which is immature to satisfy the needs of sports industry development in the New Era; 3) sports market regulation has its own characteristics in terms of how to set up regulatory departments, streamline administration and delegate powers, develop market subjects and position social organizations. On this basis, the approaches and measures are proposed for the construction of the sports market supervision system in the New Era: To establish a multi-level and pluralistic supervision organization system, broaden the sports market supervision system from the multiple angels, improve the regulatory and legal system that matches industrial development and form an information-based and diversified regulatory tool system.
