    How Can Physical Education Function as Ideological and Political Education?——Sociological Thinking Based on Physical Skills

    • From the perspective of how the physical education plays a role of ideological and political education, the article focuses on the physical skills in physical education major, and makes a sociological analysis of physical skills in regulation, classification,ceremony, appreciation, and demonstration. The study mainly discusses and indicates how a learner acquires physical skills knowledge, meanwhile gets an education in moral trait, cooperative spirit and patriotism in the process of physical education. The research holds that the formation of the internal mechanism of ideological and political education in physical education is a natural process by engaging in physical skills learning. The fundamental teaching approach of ideological and political education in physical education should be the influence of teachers' virtue and the student' s understanding of the empathy with the moral character. In view of the special characteristics of physical education, which is realized by body education, physical education through physical skills plays an irreplaceable role in ideological and political education compared with other discipline.
