Abstract
Accelerating the construction of the academic system of physical education and sport science with Chinese characteristics is the core of the “three systems” of physical education and sport science with Chinese characteristics in the new era. Through sorting out the current situation of the development of academic research in Chinese physical education and sport science, it is found that there are weak innovation in academic research and not many original achievements in sports theory; low transformation rate of academic achievements and low response to the needs of sports practice; more borrowing of academic research methods and insufficient characteristic research methods; slower construction of academic research platforms, and a weak atmosphere of academic controversy; insufficient synergy among academic research subjects and slow construction of the academic evaluation system. The construction of academic research platform is slow, the atmosphere of academic competition is not enough; the construction of academic evaluation system is slow. In view of these problems, it is proposed to take the “four insistences” as the fundamental guideline, and to build a new era academic system of sports science with Chinese characteristics in four dimensions,namely, academic theory system, academic research organisation system, academic platform support system, and academic evaluation and assessment system. It is believed that the academic theory system of physical education and sport science with Chinese characteristics should be established around the development of disciplines, the academic organisation system of physical education and sport science with Chinese characteristics should be established around the purpose of community, the academic platform support system of physical education and sport science with Chinese characteristics should be established around academic prosperity, and the academic evaluation system of physical education and sport science with Chinese characteristics should be established around the ecology of innovation.
