Theoretical Framework and Generation Path of China’s Distinctive Discourse System in Sports Science

The examination of discourse system building in sports science serves not only to deepen the fundamental theoretical research in this field but also meets the contemporary requirements of advancing China's distinctive “Three Major Systems”of philosophical and social sciences. This study employs logical analysis to thoroughly dissect the core theory of discourse system studies. It deduces the theoretical framework for building China's distinctive discourse system in sports science. Among them, the country's need for sports, the sinicization and modernization of Marxism, and the answers to the practical problems of Chinese sports constitute the logical system of constructing the discourse system of sports science with Chinese characteristics from three aspects: historical logic, theoretical logic, and practical logic; The country and the people have become the two basic dimensions for constructing the discourse system of sports with Chinese characteristics. The function of sports in the national dimension points to “sports promoting national strength”, while the function of sports in the people dimension points to “sports promoting comprehensive human development”.On the dimensions of both the country and the people, It has evolved into a discourse system in Chinese sports science guided by the principles of Sports Power and National Fitness. This system encompasses six clusters:competitive sports, sports industry, mass sports, sports culture, school sports, and martial arts, showcasing unmistakable Chinese characteristics.
